With the NPL eBook collection, enjoy 24/7 access to browse, sample, place holds and download eBooks to your personal computer, eReaders, tablets and mobile devices. Once downloaded, you can increase the font size, bookmark electronically and even add notes for discussion and/or study.

All you need is an Internet connection, your NPL card number and PIN to bring popular fiction and nonfiction right to your fingertips. Free software is necessary for transfer to some devices. There are no overdue fees for eBooks; they expire from your device when the term limit is up without any effort on your part.

Borrow up to 5 items at a time, place holds for up to 5 items at a time, and borrow titles for up to 14 days. eBooks automatically return at the end of your lending period, so no more overdue fines!
Tumblebooks for KidsTumbleBooks is a digital collection of animated, talking picture books for children, whether they are learning to read or are already reading! The TumbleBooks collection is accessed online through the Library and requires the Flash 6 plug-in. Download Flash 6 plug-in for free.
Project Gutenberg eBooksProject Gutenberg is the first free eBook library and hosts over 42,000 previously published books for download or online reading. Project Gutenberg is accessible via computer, ereader, or mobile device. eBooks from this collection will not count against your checkout limit
Open Library eBooksOpen Library is a lending library of more than 10,000 eBooks and has an open, editable catalog that you can contribute to! Browse by subject, author or member-created lists. Open Library offers a variety of formats including PDFs, ePub, and DAISY for the blind or visually-impaired.
