| Motheread is a family reading program based on a simple idea: when families read together
and talk about what they read, remarkable things happen. Parents become reading role models for
their children, and children become better readers and learners. Motheread, Inc. utilizes children's
books to encourage parents to read to their children by teaching them how to understand literature
in the context of their own lives. Motheread is a nationally-recognized, award-winning program. To visit the Motheread website, click here. For more information about the Norfolk Public Library's Motheread program, click here. (This program is for adults and children together.) |
