Norfolk, VA (August 27, 2009). The Norfolk Public Library has been busier than ever with people using computers, checking out library materials, and with children using our KidZones. With the increase in business, more customers are also asking for help with finding community services and resources. This need for help is what prompted NPL to create a Community Help Card.

The Community Help Card is a wallet size card that provides contact information for referral services, city resources, and crisis hotlines. Additional information and links to community resources are available on NPL’s website at www.npl.lib.va.us/lean/lean2.html. Community Help Cards are available at all NPL locations, and can be made available to community organizations and businesses for distribution as well.
