All kinds of book clubs are available at the Norfolk Public Library at each branch, but many people like to start groups with their own friends who have similar interests. NPL encourages reading anywhere and with anyone. Participating in a book club just got easier. For those who have created their own book club, NPL recently started offering Club Read book club kits to expedite the process.
The Club Read book club kit contains 10 copies of a book, discussion questions for the book, an author biography and a book sign-up sheet for leaders to keep track of the books. The book club facilitator must register the book club before borrowing a kit. Club Read kits are currently offered at Little Creek Branch Library and Pretlow Anchor Branch Library.
