    Includes a list of collective nouns: everything from a herd of antelope to a descent of woodpeckers; animal sounds: apes gibber, swallows titter, and wolves howl; animal offspring: a baby alpaca is a cria, a baby zebra is a foal; animal gender: antelope does and bucks, walrus cows and bulls; and animal adjectives: acarine like a mite, zebrine like a zebra.

  • San Diego Zoo.
    Take a virtual live visit to the zoo through their video portal to their elephant cam, panda cam, polar bear cam, or absolutely apes cam.

  • Virginia Zoo.
    Includes information on zoo events, membership, and personal profiles on all the animals who live in the zoo.
