  • Avalon Project at the Yale Law School.
    An on-going collection of documents "relevant to the fields of Law, History, Economics, Politics, Diplomacy and Government." Documents are categorized by century and alphabetically by author and title. They're international in nature, and span a timeframe from Ancient Greece to the present. They include such things as the full text of the Code of Hammurabi and the Nuremberg War Crimes Trials, including footnotes. References to other texts are linked whenever possible.

  • John F. Kennedy Executive Orders.
    From the University of Michigan, the 214 Executive Orders issued by John F. Kennedy during his Presidency. The directives include the establishment of the Peace Corps (E.O. 10924) and emergency instructions to government agencies at the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis (E.O. 11051, 11058, 11087-11095). The documents appear in HTML format with indexes by number, date, title, and keyword.

    On July 1, 1997, the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong became the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China. This website has been prepared to keep Internet users informed about the progress of the transition. South China Morning Post has been Hong Kong's leading English-language daily newspaper since 1903.

  • Tax History Project.
    The Price of Civilization, database offers a documentary history of U.S. federal tax policy. The site, currently focused on the Great Depression and World War II, features an extensive text archive of primary materials, including documents drawn from the Library of Congress, the National Archives, and various presidential libraries. In addition, it includes a gallery of wartime propaganda posters and cartoons on federal taxation. The Presidential Tax Returns project maintains a web archive of presidential tax returns, including presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Richard Nixon, Jimmy Carter, Ronald Reagan, George Bush, and Bill Clinton.
